Situated in the heart of Bhubaneswar, XIMB stands proud with a legacy of 29 years. The lives of students at XIMB resonate the hustle and bustle of the city and one realises that time just seems to fly here. Academic rigour is ingrained into the culture of the institution and students rarely miss a chance to hone their skills.

The idyllic first week of Orientation soon becomes a distant memory as students get into the grind of a B-School. Endless assignments, committee meetings, conclaves, batch meets, surprise quizzes, competitions and a robust curriculum keep everyone on their toes. A host of committees test the true pulse of individuals and makes their lives interesting and inspiring. Students learn to manage their hectic, demanding schedules and maintain a balance between coursework and other activities to nurture their individual likes and interests. XIMB does not leave any stone unturned to provide a platform for students to discover and showcase their talents. Be it fine arts, sports or managerial skills, all are put to test through various intra and inter-college competitions.

The XUB Campus, away from the humdrum of the city, has a spirit of its own. At night, the campus is quiet and serene with its lush green patches and empty pathways. This peaceful scene is a complete contrast to the fervour and excitement with which different festivals are celebrated on campus. Each festival has a special and unique element and the students participate with unmatched enthusiasm to keep up the spirit of the institute.

The unsung heroes of the campuses are the dedicated staff who toil day in and day out make the lives of the students a little easier. The in-house X-Café serves as a welcome change from the mess food and also caters to the immediate needs of all campus residents. Life at XIMB would be incomplete without the mention of 'Xpressions' which is the biggest management fest in Eastern India. Every year, the Student's Union of the college organises this fest, which is a battle of mettle and wits. Students let their hair down and enjoy the three-day extravaganza.

Despite the rigour of the curriculum, students love the life here- not because they become used to the pattern, but because there is never a dull moment and all are sailing together in the same boat; working hard and living a life that will hopefully make exceptional managers out of them.
